Well I should probably report on the first AMM meeting. Let's just say that it taught me few things. Firstly, if I arrange to meet for a drink - it's a drink. I will not be talked into turning it into a dinner date. Secondly, if someone hasn't sent very recogniseable photos there is probably a reason. Thirdly, I will not travel further than 30mins out of my way for a meet up. If someone lives that far away they can meet me halfway.
That all probably sounds rather dire, but #2 is a very nice lady. Just not really my type, and I wish I hadn't had to travel quite so far or spend quite so much time finding that out. She's expressed an interest in meeting up again, so it's seems that I'm her type - but I don't think so. I was very nice and friendly with her, probably too nice in fact, but she's had some bad experiences through the site so hopefully a nice dinner will have done her some good.
