Well today was the day of the big meeting. My single girl was to meet me for a coffee after work at a prearranged destination. I dressed for work more thoughtfully and took my makeup pouch so I could gussy up for the meeting. I left work in plenty of time and arrived at our rendezvous right on time. She wasn't there. I waited. I waited some more - nothing! Finally after 45mins I rang and got A to check on AMM to see if there was a cancellation message - nothing. So I went home. I can't believe I got stood up! I sent a "what happened" message and haven't received a reply. I don't think I will either. What a royal piece of crap luck, she really did seem nice too!
Oh well, I still have my meetup with #2 next Tuesday. It has somehow gone from coffee to dinner, with an option of going to her place afterwards. Hope we get along! Could be a hard situation to wiggle out of otherwise.... I sent a few more messages and replies last night and this morning just to make sure. There are other irons in the fire - lets see which to strike first.
